LabVIEW

LabVIEW Observatory Sciences has substantial LabVIEW expertise, with three of our staff having achieved Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer status.

LabVIEW (Laboratory Virtual Instrumentation Engineering Workbench) is a platform and development environment for a graphical programming language from National Instruments. It has revolutionised the development of test, measurement, and control applications because it allows, engineers and scientists, regardless of experience, to rapidly and cost-effectively interface with measurement and control hardware, analyse data, share results, and distribute systems.

Observatory Sciences has standardized on the use of LabVIEW for the production of many of its recent telescope control systems. Its ease of use has enabled increased speed and efficiency in the production of control software.
